Here is all that the jury got wrong — which was nearly everything.

Amber Heard is just the first target of a new extremist playbook. 

 As for whether Heard has “felt the full force of our culture’s wrath,” a quick glance at Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and other platforms, where she is cast as the Medusa of Sunset Boulevard, may settle the question.  

 "You're going to hear the testimony from Amber about how she had to mix the different colors for the different days of the bruises as they developed in the different coloring and how she would use these to touch those up to be able to cover those."  

This trial seems to have exposed some of the rhetorical weaknesses of #MeToo. “Believe women”   has somehow morphed into “Believe all women … except Amber Heard.”
